Two-Story ICF Custom Home with Elevated Cantilevered Concrete Slab

Overview

CCSG partnered with another general contractor on a custom two-story residence built with insulated concrete forms (ICF). The project involved complex reinforced concrete elements, including large-span beams at the front and rear of the home and a distinctive elevated cantilevered slab extending over the front porch.

Our Role

Working alongside the general contractor responsible for the overall project, CCSG performed the specialized structural construction under the appropriate contractor licensing:

• Erected and poured two stories of ICF walls, including the gable ends
• Constructed large-span ICF beams and columns
• Formed and poured the elevated cantilevered concrete slab

Outcome

The project demonstrates CCSG's expertise in ICF construction and elevated reinforced concrete structures, and its ability to collaborate with residential, building and general contractors on technically demanding structural work.
